Cancellation Policy – Nutrition & Functional Medicine Consultations:
We are a small health centre and during busy times space is limited. In order to provide you and others with excellent customer service and access to appointments during peak times we have a firm 24-hour cancellation policy.
Kindly review our cancellation information below before scheduling an appointment. By booking with Bare Roots Natural Health and Yoga Centre you are accepting the terms and conditions of our cancellation policy. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. This will give you plenty of time to check in, use the restroom and fill out any necessary forms. Arriving late will rob you of precious treatment minutes as each session will be finished exactly on time as a courtesy to the next client. Note: If your appointment is first thing in the morning, you don’t need to arrive early.
We are sympathetic that sometimes being late is outside of your control. We promise to always do our very best to perform the most complete consultation possible in the time remaining. Each consultation will be finished on time to accommodate the next client. Arriving too late to perform the scheduled service will result in full charges (equivalent deductions from gift certificates). To ensure that our health studio runs on time, we regretfully cannot make an exception to this policy. For this reason we recommend that you plan ahead for your relaxing visit to our centre. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our location, parking, other service options etc…
Booking by phone:
When booking by phone you will be asked to provide a valid credit card or gift certificate number to hold your reservation. Please note that no charges will be made to your credit card until your service is completed. Upon completion you’ll be able to pay for your services with your choice of Visa, MasterCard, debit or cash. We do not accept American Express. If you don’t have a credit card, you can pre-pay for your services in cash to hold your reservation. If paying with an in-store purchased gift certificate, you will be asked to provide the hard copy after your service as payment.
If you need to cancel your appointment please call us at (250)954.2273 at least 24 hours in advance. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (or no-shows) will result in full charges on your credit card (or the equivalent deduction from gift certificates).
Illness or Emergency:
We realize that sometimes a sudden illness (of you or a loved one) or an emergency can prevent you from giving 24 hours cancellation notice. In this instance we will use our discretion and if the circumstances are sudden and out of your control, we will work with you to re-schedule your appointment without charges.
Canceling with Less Than 24 Hours Notice:
Missed or forgotten appointments cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. If you missed your appointment, we will gladly issue a credit note for 50% of your total service. Please call us or drop by and we’ll be happy to arrange a credit note for you.
